Balancing your Work & Personal Life

Too many of us are busy working all the time and we neglect our families/personal life. We need to find the balance in our work and personal life to be happy and content individuals. The following pointers will shed light upon some of these issues and how to deal with them.

  • World Problems vs. Family Problems
Husbands and fathers are so busy trying to solve problems at work that they are completely drained when it comes to solving problems within their own family. Try to take out time from your busy schedule to listen to the day-to-day issues of your family and try to resolve them. Listening to your wife and children can do wonders for your family because you are a part of them and they feel comfort when you care. At the end of the day the most important work you can ever do as a husband and father is between the walls of your own home.
  • Balance is the key to success
Some of the world’s most successful people have mastered the art of balancing their work and personal life. They are able to manage their time effectively and prioritize the most important tasks in both areas. The more you learn to balance your time and priorities, the better you will be able to enjoy both your personal life and work.
  • Taking a Break
Many studies have shown have that taking a break from your busy work schedule can do wonders for your physical and mental health. It rejuvenates you mentally and physically and as a result you are a more effective person at work. The opposite is true for people who work too much; they end up with conditions like insomnia, stress related health disorders, burnout and low productivity. The choice is yours!
  • The Art of Scheduling
Schedules can be very helpful in balancing your life. Most of us on the go already use schedules on a daily basis as a life line to keep us on track, but try to include ‘family time’ into this schedule as well. Also once every 2 to 3 months give yourself a completely free day from your tasks where you can do whatever you want as a deserved vacation for yourself.
  • What is true success?
True success is not to have lots of wealth, possessions, and materialistic things in this world, but true success lies in waking up every day and feeling good about yourself as a person and the life you have created.

Every relatinship has issues at some point or another and marriage is no exception. A good marriage counseling program is often necessary at some point in a marriage relationship.

Good but the point remains, if a person is a good Muslim, which means he has submitted his will fully to Allah, THE ALMIGHTY – THE ONE CREATOR, then he will automatically have a good balance as only a true believe can achieve true success in both the worlds.

Naturally he will remember giving time to family when he reads Qur’an for e.g. Surah Al Qiyamaah, and realizes that he will be judged and asked about not only his limbs but those under his wing.

So he will automatically give a JUST or balanced time, fearing the MOST JUST, MASTER OF THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.

And the last part is not well written, ‘life you have created’ i think u missed style over there bro.

    Interesting reminder!
